What is high sensitivity?
Some people perceive stimuli more intensely and process them more deeply. As a result, they often perceive other people more deeply as well. How stimuli are perceived, and especially how a person deals with them, can vary greatly. It can also feel very lonely to perceive more or differently than the environment in which one grows up.
High sensitivity can sometimes be both a blessing and a curse. It requires tools to manage perception, understand the different layers, and find one’s own path.
How I support you with high sensitivity
High sensitivity is often an important aspect of your personality that can be explored and more fully embraced. When I resist something, it usually becomes bigger and more unpleasant. I can offer you tools to find new ways of coping with what is often overwhelming, and perhaps sometimes even too much. We’ll discover your strengths and how your perception works. Depending on your current needs, I’ll incorporate trauma-informed knowledge, mindfulness and spirituality, as well as other psychological insights.
If you’d like to learn more about how I can support you, please feel free to schedule a free discovery call. Afterward, you can book a 90-minute first session with me.
